As factory lines grind to a halt in ShenZhen and other centers of excellence in China, the world staggers like a pub crawler in the early morning hours. This Corona virus is taking a toll.

We as a species are going to have step back and let this wave pass by and just recover on the other side. A lot of progress is going to be snubbed by this pandemic. The financial world will have to recoup first and hopefully political systems will remain stable.

The lesson, if learned, will be that wet-markets of caged wild animals in China sold as food spread disease best left in the wild. There is no reason other than stupid personal macho stuff at play here. This practice of eating exotic animals was needed for a starving nation, but those days are gone. We also now know where these diseases come from - wet-markets in China. Stop it.
